I started using this and love it however on the most recent wash my hair has gone very dry at the roots and flakey. Is there something I have done incorrectly?

Use Grow Scrub 250g once a week instead of shampoo to unblock hair follicles and remove buildup; Massage gently into the scalp and rinse. Step 2.
