Bouncy, hydrated waves ❤️
"After originally purchasing the Wave type 2 kit (and loving it!) I was interested to see how this kit compared. First of all, I think it's excellent value for money- you can never go wrong with the curl jelly so I knew that if all else failed, it wouldn't be a complete waste! The curl shine is extremely lightweight and perfect for my fine 2b hair, same with the mousse; there's no stickiness at all and it kept my clumps hydrated and nicely formed whilst wet, even after micro-plopping. Next up the wonderful curl jelly which I diffuse to create that all important cast. I always wash at night before banana clipping and sleeping in a bonnet overnight, ready to scrunch out in the morning. The refresh spray is a new favourite- it sprays as a fine mist (which is preferable to a competitor from a different brand that sprays too directly and harshly) not to mention it smells amazing! Again, no stickiness and give me at least another day of waves. Combining all four products together has definitely given me bouncier, more hydrated waves. It only loses one star because I'm finding that, compared to the Type 2 wave kit, the definition isn't lasting as long. I think I'll try a combination of products from both kits next!
