This information may also be used internally to improve the Hair Consultation engine and the services provided.

Selfie Scanning and Image Data

If I choose to use the selfie scanning feature as part of the Hair Consultation:

• I understand that my image will be processed to assess hair type and condition in order to generate tailored product recommendations.

• This image data is held securely and internally by Umberto Giannini Haircare Cosmetics Ltd and is not shared with third parties.

• The selfie analysis is powered by our trusted technology partner, Tangent AI.

• Selfie data is removed from the system after 30 days, unless a deletion request is submitted earlier.

• All data is processed in compliance with GDPR as outlined by our service provider, Tangent AI. You can read more about their GDPR compliance here.

Data Deletion Policy

If I wish to have my selfie and personal consultation data deleted before the 30-day period, I may send a request to dev@tangent.ai.

• All customer data is deleted within 24 hours of the request being received.

• A confirmation email will be sent once deletion is completed.
